God, Who?

I grew up in a religious culture that taught us that we were "children of god". That is a good concept.

And then, they went on to teach us that we needed to work hard to please that god. We were subtly taught that to make a mistake was a sin. In order to stay in favor with this god, we could obey without question the edicts of our leaders. That way, they would be responsible for any mistake or judgement. We did not have to be responsible for thinking through ideas, situations, or events to reach a conclusion that might be "wrong". Just listen and obey the conclusions of those at the top and we, the grassroots members of the congregations, would be held blameless by this god.

As I look at the very real way the brain works, I see the dangers of this type of thinking.

First, as "children" of some highly evolved, divine being, we ought to be taught that we have all of the qualities of that "creator". In that case, there is no possible "wrong", no possible "mistake" and availability to all of the unlimited intelligence, creativity, Goodness to cause a life of unbounded Good, Abundance, Generosity, Insight and Love.

In order to activate the higher functions of our brain that supports this shift from survival fear, denial, addictive inaction to curiosity and problem solving, we need problems to solve.

It is no accident that human life is about "mistakes". We set a goal, try and miss. We try again and miss again. We try another way and come closer to the goal. We try again and again and again... each time adding a new skill, a new insight, some new partnerships. Why? Because the goal of human life is not to live under another's concept for live. The goal is to discover those values and ideas that are our own. Mistakes and problem solving for solutions is the way that we get to the goal of "Know thyself".

Holding onto the group think of one leader's concept does not allow our personal journey into the Good we are capable of giving and receiving. Being in a group whose leaders opens doors is the first step into a fulfilled life. The next step is letting go of the leader, being encouraged by that leader, to try ones own wings.

What Separates?

It has been a very busy month in my world. I have been thinking about "us vs. them" for most of that time. Finally, this morning I have space to write about "separation".

With the elections approaching fast, the political rhetoric is heating up. Our nation has been fashioned into camps of blue or red. The entire process has become about which "candidate" is the worst one. What is lost is "who has the skills to bring to the policy making tables that will bring benefit to our citizens and our environment?". In fact, how many have been guilty of withholding the skills, insights, support and resources in order to make the other guys look bad? The political focus has not been on how can we come together as U.S. citizens and elected officials in order to make changes for the Good of all but on demonizing the opposition.

Separation .... Division .... Disaster

Every concept or way of thinking creates a separate group. Even the unconscious thoughts that we inherited as children tie us into "group think". In fact, it is the unacknowledged concepts that hold us most powerfully as they are the ones that go unexamined. Traditional ways of thinking have been in place for us and our family for generations. They create the "tribal mind" that Carolyn Myss speaks of. Such as, the world is unsafe, secrets are kept within the family, men are designated to rule.

Another very powerful group of constructs are those that fashioned by "god". They are untouchable. "God says". . .  causes wars on the personal level as well as on the world scene. Outrageous, atrocious acts have been justified because "we are acting for god" or "god says it is so".

Diversity is the nature of our life on this planet. Being clones was never the point or goal. Indeed, the very opposite was true. One purpose for earth experience is to manifest in diverse ways. The challenge is, "How many varieties of our Divine Good Nature can be identified, manifested and experienced on this planet?"

Consider this. Our Divine state of Being is not our finite physical body. Our Divine state of Being is the infinite "body" of energy we call intelligence, etheric, consciousness. That which holds life is unseen by physical senses and exists as vast field of Beings of intelligence and consciousness. Each Being is like a drop of color or sound within an unlimited field of color and sound.

There is a great field of Intelligence. of which you are a part, that underlies all life

In this illustration, you have a side view of energy intelligence. At the bottom there is all that is possible. Some call it Source, Intelligence, Greater, etc. This is not the field of "gods".

The next level up you see that even in the vast field of Intelligence, we have the option of aligning our "unseen" body to those who choose a similar specific vibration which becomes a unique experience. In the illustration you see choice alignment creating colorful whirling tornadoes. The variety adds richness to the field.

This is how our diversity looks from above...

The idea that we are separate from one another is not our deep truth. It is true that there is not another human being exactly like you. It is true that we have unique experiences. It is also true that we intended to experience variety and them share with one another what that experience was like. What is true also is that divisiveness and separation have occurred because we have forgotten the field of our Divine state of One. We have forgotten that we are each one part of unlimited intelligence, creativity, inventiveness. We have forgotten that our Divine state is all aspects of good; generous, honoring, respectful, loving. We have bought the less than "divine concept" that "if you are not with us, you are against us". We have gotten stuck in the lower, reptilian brain that identifies anything, or anyone unlike us as the "enemy". In a culture that sees only those who think and act the same as "good", everyone is an "enemy to be ignored, diminished, or killed.

Any group; red, green, blue, yellow, white, blue, violet, etc. is only a small portion of what is possible and only a limited view of our Divine intelligence. If you are in a red "group think" then you see only red, think only red, experience only red and are sure that the other possibilities would be harmful. Whether the "group think" represents a concept of "god", a change idea, a savior leader, it is limited by the very nature of humanness. In human body suits we are finite. At any one time we can only experience a portion of all that is possible. What prevents us from becoming locked into limits, blame, judgment, fear and conflict is our ability to hold a mental/spiritual view that diversity is good. It is the ability to create a large enough space that we can hear the unique experiences of others.

No matter how enlightened, how messianic, how grand one idea or person is, that is only one small possibility within the unlimited greatness of our Divine Nature. Even "god" is an example of limited thinking. Holding tightly to your "god" is like being in the golden web above, missing out on the richness of pink, blue, green, red, violet, brown, orange, yellow and aqua.

Since the lower reptilian brain see all ideas, projects or individuals who are unlike you as dangereous, unless intercepted, the brain triggers conflict, judgement and discounting. It is your conscious ability to choose from a bigger picture understanding that evolves you. That choice to discern opens the door to investigate the values that any new brings.

Survival reptilian or higher curiosity and problem solving? Our world is at the evolutionary cusp.

New Choices, New Challanges

It has been10 days since I have posted a new article. Trust me, those days were spent in active contemplation, review and rethinking.
What started the whole process was the "win" I wrote about in the last post. I had simply written down the specifications of a home for myself and my classes on Whidbey Island, WA.
Six weeks later..... there it was and more!

One hitch.... I had not written that it had to be funded.
I am thankful for some excellent counselors/friends/daughters who could listen to the entire adventure and then suggest questions.

"What if you stayed where you are?"
"Is there another way to experience what you are visioning?"
"Is there another step that ought to come before the move?"
"Is what you have to offer unique enough to have value?"
"Are there individuals interested in learning and/or applying what you have to share?"

And on and on... including the question I had for myself,
"What about my communications with the real estate agent gave the solid impression that I was ready to act instantly?"
"Would it serve me to sharpen up my communication skills?"
"Why do I think I have to do everything alone?"
"Do I?"
"Why am I not thinking of retiring rather than starting an entire expanded career?"

So you see, my time has been a bit busy with the process. Thank goodness I had the time!

I really acknowledge that I declared what I wanted and the greater Good of our Divine Family worked to get it to me. A BIG Thanks! was due them.

And then it was back to the drawing board to add reality to the mix. First step, design the curriculum that I want to offer. I noticed my reluctance to pull out all of the plugs and speak boldly about what I have to share. So, I am in what I have termed a "Crisis Awareness Walk". That means that I am moving up enough levels that there are hidden issues and patterns coming up very regularly. It has been many years since I have worked several hours a week on my own personal sabotage. That only happens when major changes are happening.

So it is for me right now. It is for this very purpose that I have done the spiritual research over the past 20+ years and created the processes in the journey. Without intense and consistent attention to what is screaming at me to "Stop!", I will not get to the expanded place I want to be.

The same is true for everyone I have known. You can live a comfortable life, read books, go to a workshop, do some affirmations and your life may remain semi-comfortable for a time. And when you are faced with life or death illness, tragedy, or the desire to expand into your dreams,  you ought to be prepared to be consistent with all of the fear, sadness, sabotage, unworthiness that comes up. That is when you most need a spiritual team and an integrated protocol. Over the years, I have seen others who intended to make major leaps in their lives. They did not have the understanding or tools to keep the old patterns from coming up and stopping them. I am prepared for this "crisis walk".

Where will I be in 6 months and what will I be doing?

In nature, working with amazing individuals who are taking life head on, participating in the changes our world needs and loving my expanded career. How? Don't know nor can I. What will it look like? Don't know and am not worried.

One step at a time and the first step is to clear anything in me that reflects, "You can not!"

What is Showing Up?

Have you noticed that what you ask for is showing up more quickly?
I certainly have.
On July 23 I wrote down what I wanted for my move to Whidbey Island:

3 + bedrooms
2.5 baths.
2-3 to 5 acres of land
forested portions
trails for exploring

And I added a date: September 1st

I did not think about money. I find that money, or lack thereof, as a reason most of us do not act. What I had not considered is that availability of money is part of the process of acting or moving forward.

In addition to the physic explanation of energy attracting to our thoughts and words, I have experienced the presence of unseen beings who are part of the manifesting "project". I know that we all have a spiritual team that is available throughout our lives to assist us as we choose. When we do not choose their help, their hands are tied. We lose that extensive network of which they are a part that could support and resource us. One of the major laws on this planet is that the Greater Good cannot interfere with or supersede our personal requests. Granted, those human requests are often unconscious thoughts and patterns of limit or sabotage that we refuse to own.

Well, back to my words for Whidbey.

Three weeks later, on August 8th, a home listed for sale, one that I had looked at two days earlier, was offered to me... to rent.... month by month....  no first, last or deposit! Now when does that ever happen? A seller willing to take a home off the market for 6 months so that I could be on the island?

Details?

3+bedrooms
2.5 baths
10 acres.... that was over the top wonderful!
forested with trails the owner had created
access to private beach.... now I hadn't thought about that!
and all of the wood in the home, entry way, stairs, doors, had been harvested from the land... another benefit I hadn't thought to ask!

And, I had not thought about money.... I had not asked that it be fully funded, financially feasible,  etc. I had just ignored the money issue. I could have asked that the rent of this second home would come easily and effortlessly.

What did I do?

I went back to the project "drawing board". I was sooo appreciative for the immense help from my spiritual team. I acknowledged that my word was honored as "law" in my life. And, I put more conscious thought into the words for my move to Whidbey, including that the move was financially suppported.

What will happen? How will it happen? What is my role?

What will show up and how it will show up is not in my hands.
My role is to honor the quiet voices that come to me.
My role is to act on my intuition.
My role is to set aside time to consult with my spiritual support and ask what they would like me to know.
Also, my role is to notice any voices that "shout" at me, that try to demand of me, that act as if I am at their beck and call. It is my role to remember and anchor that I am the power of choice in my life and tell my spiritual team to remove  the source of demanding voices from my entire energy space.

Remember the statement I suggested several posts ago? Complete the statement: "The qualities of my Spiritual teachers are: _______________________________." That is the foundation that attracts and defines those who can work with you now.

What will happen to move me to Whidbey? Who knows! That is beauty of the magic of life.

What Would I Do Without You?

Jump into the Creativity of Your Greatest Transformation!

 I am ready to move forward on the step that I have wanted to take for as long as I can remember... move to a small rural town surrounded with the beauty of nature. I have been tasting this experience for so long. Members of my family have heard my wistful imaginings for years and years.

This longing to be in the trees, with the birds, watching the water and animal woke up again last summer when I traveled to camp at Mt. Rainier. Ah...... so beautiful, so peaceful, so nurturing to my soul. I even wrote a poem about it once:

"I turn to the trees as a means of reconnection to Source
"What in me has been so nutured that an emptiness is felt without them?
"And the birds-what of their meaning in my life?
"At what distant past did our essenses converge with such power that an imprint was made-never to be the same?
"I thank Good for these friends!
"Their quiet strength and beauty.
"I seek the mountains and the pines and my spirit is renewed!"

Well, on that trip to Rainier I realized that now was the time and I was ready to say "yes!" The place that is calling is Whidbey Island, WA.

Although I know that the resources come in response to the "Yes!", early this morning I was a wee bit anxious. Does that ever happen to you in the early morning hours? Anyway, my mind started spinning the question, How is this move to Whidbey Island going to come together? Quieting my mind, breathing in the truth that support has always come, I also reached out in communication to my Spiritual Team... I am in your hands, I trust and I do not know how.

Most times I just ask and then listen as I write. This time I drifted back to sleep.

As I woke up, snatches on a dream stayed with me. Frogs, lots and lots of frogs. All sizes of frogs. And then, two beautiful large eagle feathers.

I looked up the symbolic meaning when frogs appear in your life. This is what I read:

Frogs deal with:

• Fertility
• Luck
• Cleansing
• Intuition
• Transformation 
• Creativity

"Due to the fascinating transitions the Frog goes through in its life, it is a symbol of metamorphosis. Furthermore, the Frog’s dual time spent on land and water represents duality of the soul. The Frog also symbolizes creativity and forward thinking.
Frog Animal Totems Facilitate:

• Patience in undergoing life transitions, clarity of thought during transition
• Embracing of personal transformation, welcoming internal morphing
• Jump into creative thought, and leap out of habitual thinking patterns
• Acceptance of our diversity and celebration of our opposite poles found in personality and lifestyle"

What could have been a more perfect and direct answer to this expansive leap that I am declaring. I am choosing a major shift in my work, my home, my mission and my Spiritual Teachers sent me the "frog".

Eagle feathers are always sacred. Eagle is one of my totem animals and the presence of the feathers blessed the answer.

What do individuals who try to walk their life with only other's external ideas for them do? How do they keep inner balance and perspective?

I could not have done my life without those amazing Spiritual Beings who walk beside me.

Who Tells You Your Purpose?

It is very common to hear the question, "What is my purpose?" In other words, "Why am I here on this planet and in this body?"

We human beings love to understand. We love to know "why". We struggle to make sense of things, people, and situations. Therefore, the biggest question for us is often, "Why am I here?"

Growing up in a religion that gave its members all the answers, I knew from my youngest years why I was here on this planet. I was born into a female body and so my purpose was to obey the edicts of "god" and to have babies.

No pondering for me....

When I grew up and traveled I meet people who had other ideas. I was in discussions that opened my mind. I saw happiness and purpose coming into female lives who were not obeying an external "god" and/or who had never birthed children.  I also ran into the ideas of master, devotee, guru. That gave me another lens through which to view life.

With a lot of Gemini energy in my astrological birth chart, I am always attracted to bits and bits and bits of information. Eventually, those bits of information come together in ways they could not by themselves. That is what has happened over and over again.

In this blog I am sharing about listening to Beings in unseen bodies. During those times I was listening, I would often experience an overwhelming sense of peace, joy and love. A sense of peace and enthusiasm about life often flooded my entire being as I spent time with my Spiritual teachers. I was experiencing that my most secure place was connected to their presence and wisdom.

My knowledge of personal purpose came together for me step by step.

 On our journey, we begin with whatever system our birth family provides. It is the platform and lens through which we see ourselves and the world. It is a beginning place, a tribal mind of group agreed upon concepts. As stable as it may be, it is limited.

Eventually, the platform and lens of that birth community has taken us as far as it can. The ideas and concepts begin to chaff, we feel limited, we have a sense of something more or we cycle in repeating patterns that cause escalating pain. At some point, we look around and see someone or something that promises a better way and we listen to new views. This new guide, whether person, book, video, documentary, etc., becomes our teacher or in some culture, our master. We are the student, the devotee of this external voice that seems to have something that we do not have.

This is a place, I have learned, where the "moon" path begins. We are living, learning, stretching from a reflected light. The reflected light is the knowledge and experience of an external teacher, master or guru. We have grown beyond our birth community of knowledge and are ready for something more.

Dr. Brough Joy in his book, Joy's Way, write, "It is important to be discerning when you choose a teacher. The question is, 'Where is the power?' Does the teacher/organization claim to have all the power, all the knowledge, all the answers? Does the teacher/organization suggest that if you do not stay in the 'flock' that you will be lost? Or does the teacher/organization hold that you have the power and answers for yourself even when you do not know you do? Does the teacher/organization continue to mentor you into your own magnificence even if it means that you are called beyond the teacher/organization?

"A spiritual teacher, guru, master, organization of integrity will hold and encourage your knowingness. They will teach you ways to draw your wisdom forth from within. Those kind of teachers are ones to which you want to align."

So, who tells you your purpose? Who are you expecting to give you the answer?

Who or what is your "moon" path?

What does all of this mean to you?

Now, the Bigger Questions!

To the Heart of the Matter, "The qualities of my Spiritual teachers are.... "

Last posting I suggested that you can work with your Spiritual team around simple, daily concerns. That is certainly what was most pressing for me when I began in 1970.

There was an additional line of questioning that opened when I began my spiritual energy work to assist individual's transforming/healing the patterns that kept them small. One of those questions was, "What would be the best place to be in order to go through the Earth changes that are coming?" Now, this was in the mid- 1980's and Edgar Cayce's visions of Earth movement was expanding.

We are in similar times, only now it is the Mayan Calender, financial collapse and Occupy challenging the "norm". The question still is a valid one. "How do I keep myself and/or my family safe during the chaos and possible escalating of local conflict?"

The answer I get is same today as it was in the 1980's. "You decide." My Spiritual team as always been very clear that my life is in my hands. What do I want to experience? What do I want to let go of? What do I want help with? You get the idea.

They were never supportive of the idea that some force outside of my own conscious choice was in charge of my journey and had to be placated, begged, manipulated in order to change my path. With that in mind, their answer was perfectly understandable. "You declare how you go through changes, any changes, and that will give us permission to assist you. If you expect difficulties, then we must bring you into situations that will be difficult. If you expect benevolence, even during difficult times, then we can move you into places that are supportive. So, the answer is, You Choose."

The way that I have used to make choices is with a process my Spiritual Teachers and I created together. I call it the Reality Shift. It is more powerful than affirmations as it addresses the energy patterns in all Earth dimensions, body, mind, spirit, emotion. It also engages the help of your Spiritual healers/teachers. Here are the steps:

1. Write a statement/declaration of the end result you chose. In this case: "I have moved through life changes and earth chaos easily, effortlessly and with the clear help of my Spiritual team." (you can see that is very much like an affirmation.)

2. Then, you give your Spiritual team a command and request: "Please move my energy fields and consciousness and all to whom I am connected in Love into this declared reality."

3. The next step is commanding the healing of old patterns, most you are totally unaware of:  "And TAG and Transform anything that is, has or would keep us from that declared reality."

Read through those three steps often for the first week. What is important after that is to go to your sacred space and communicate with your team. When everything looks like the world is falling apart, go to them and ask, "Is there a place that will be safer for me and/or my family than where I am living now?" "Is this chaos dangerous?" "Are those of Light behind what looks like chaos?" "What steps do you suggest I take for the wellbeing of my family and self?"

There are some who are saying that the "green light" has been given to those of the Light. What that means in those circles is that those forces of "Light" who are ready to majorly cleanse and clean will now enter the picture of our world events. That will look like escalating conflict/chaos. How to see beyond the media? With your Spiritual team. Having a month's supply of food, water and cash has long been suggested. Is that a suggestion that your team supports for you?

We are living in times in which what is below the surface, hidden in the shadows of entrapping structures, may be the force of Light that will infuse or even activate your own Divinity.  In that case, having a way to be in tune with the Light would be very valuable.
